From Summer to Fall: Prepping Your Yard for the Season Ahead

It’s officially September and the cooler temperatures have arrived. The next few weeks are the perfect time to prepare for falling leaves and changing seasons. Start by stopping in the lawn and garden center at Southside Building Center.

Now is a great time to plug, seed, and fertilize your yard. At Southside you’ll find the spreaders, seed, weed control, and everything you need to get your yard in tip top shape and ready to grow next season. Are you ready for all of those beautiful leaves to fall? Ready or not we have a variety of rakes, shovels, tarps, and more to help clear them away and keep you lawn in pristine condition. Prepare your plants too with pruners and garden shears and we even have the gloves you’ll need to protect your hands while you’re working away. You’ll find gutter guards to keep the leaves out of your gutters and on the ground where you want them, too.
